COME ALIVE

COME ALIVE

A Poem by An owl on the moon
"

Come alive and taste the rain…

"

Life runs crimson through seeping scars

A shattered soul ripped by raven lies

Bitter tasting prison with cerulean bars

Screams splinter peaceful night skies…

Come alive, come alive and taste the rain

Leave behind your bitterness and pain…

Oh you will know the nightmare is over

And your auburn dream has come alive

When you taste the ginger on my fingers

And you look into my sapphire eyes…

You’ve come alive, come alive to taste the rain

Left behind your bitterness and pain...

This is so refreshing and hopeful! I love the use of colors, as well. The picture portrays the emotion perfectly. This is a really great and inspirational poem.

It is the spring time of the soul that energizes us and prepares us for another year of harvest. You have described how the seasons of life drain us, but how we find hope in a new tomorrow!
Your descriptions are vivid and lovely!!

Excellent. So much to feel and so little of it usually "good." It can be used to destroy or to overcome. The choice to overcome is always easier when there's someone to give you a nudge in that direction.

hopeful, empowering, a message of strength to use the resistance of pain for resilience and renewal.
