In Weather's Feast

In Weather's Feast

A Poem by An owl on the moon
"

An orchestra of birdsong in weather’s feast…

"

Flakes of white chocolate drifting

dancing over the landscape lifting…

As the yellow pineapple sun sings

a lilting papaya cloud lullaby brings…

On my warm tongue served fine and cold

vanilla ribbons of icing-cream unfold…

And in the hunger of warmer winds

scents of grilling-stirred breezes move in…

Catching crystal drops of white-wine rain

drip-dropping, never stopping candy canes…

Cinnamon and scarlet spinning swirls release

An orchestra of birdsong in weather’s feast...

What great imagery and fun! Love the lilting tempo. Can't pick a favorite out of there but "drip-dropping, never stopping candy canes" is going to be stuck in my head for days :)

This work has made me really very hungry. Just love the way you've started and slowly gone through the nature's way of satisfying our hunger for desserts and fruits. Amazing work. Beautifully written. And I really don't know how you are so consistent. Just gimme a few tips please. :-D

Ah, delicious! Feeds the hunger of the soul. There is an utopia somewhere Craig, and you've the keys to it.
