With what wonder?

With what wonder?

A Poem by An owl on the moon
"

With what wonder has the season come?

"

With what wonder has the season come?

Its treasure lies in earthen ships,

that carry dreams across the foam.

And how your memory of her now rapes

the fleshly heart that once bore scenes,

so veiled in smoky stains of tears;

it cries as on its crutches leans,

and ever fills itself with fears.

Be born anew to taste the sky

Lay waste cocoon and upwind fly...

It took me a minute to fully understand the magnificence of this poem. The last two lines, "Be born anew to taste the sky/Lay waste cocoon and upwind fly..." are so delightful. This is a beautiful poem.

Season's change as does life... and with those changes comes the deep unknown which can be scary and exhilarating... some beautifully profound writing.

so veiled in smoky stains of tears;

it cries as on its crutches leans,
Thats beautifully righteous

Magnificent usage of the word rape..very powerful ...:)
The opening lines are my favorite...oh yes...but the ending so sweetly contrasts with the tinge of melancholia that occupies the poem...giving hope in finding the sky...associated with heaven...lovely touch ...the whole..makes me to visualize a barren, rich earth...yet at the same time I am brought to pain the images of pain..sheer pain...a necessary pain felt for reasons that ought not be painful any longer...
You've managed to surprise and delight once again !! :)

It's an interesting poem, I didn't really like it as much as some of your other pieces, but it's still very nice :)

again, and as you used to do, you control the words perfectly and create a world of imagination that it's so real and heartfelt for any reader.
The memories, the saddest moments of our lives where the grief and darkness and mourning collide...: we wish to never go back to that place.
your words bring me to somewhere so dark and cold in my life... It's so authentic, pure and heartfelt, I love it :) One of your best :)
