On a marble ledge gazing down Gray cold edge; indigo loneliness A glass of All-Irish Black and Tan Taking sips rich and dark as night I hear a soft golden voice within Feel the kiss of a scented breeze Turn to see your smile light the room I feel colored in carnival electric Do you see me standing here? Not breathing as I steal glimpses Heart coming alive in your tone Your laugh, what a brilliant caffeine On the sunrise edge of happy now At least I can finally see it from here It’s resting across the room in your eyes Please just look my way forever...
