The Stars are Hidden

The Stars are Hidden

A Poem by An owl on the moon
"

On my night’s walk through the snow ‘neath clouded skies…

"

The Stars are hidden

Past veiled, lace-woven clouds

Misted, muted light

On gardens of white ice…

Yet I see them glowing

In my mind’s eye

As in dreams

That ride on wings of doves…

Now step-stepping onward

The only sound my footsteps

Still.. still.. still.. they sing…

And all nature sleeps

In silent slow slumbers

As I waltz drifting

On snowy stone…

I hold a tenderness inside

In mystery of my muse

Yet am fierce as fire

Unyielding my dreams

Clinging like sea to shore

Unrelenting my will…

The stars are hidden

Yet I see them still…

Awe yes you put so eloquently into words how just because it can't been seen doesn't mean it don't exist... like love and faith... dreams too can never been seen fully just in bits as you build toward making it come true.
Top notch writing again sir.

So happy this popped up or else I may have missed it. It's one of those writes that transport the reader, safely, to happy thoughts. Briliant

Such a gift you have, to be able to see the stars through the darkness. I like this very much, it has hope.

I don't think the font helps with the message, rather, it's off putting. Other than that, I think you captured the idea of believing in what you can't see. It's similar to the wind/ or air, I would say. Your choice of words also accentuates romanticism, for example "mystery of my muse" or "lace-woven clouds". I would say, adjectives like "unyielding" gives a lot of impact. So, over all, good job!

"the stars are hidden yet I see them still..." there is an ineradicable ray of hope in so much of your work, which I love. the imagery of the stars shines through proudly.

have to say, though, for some reason, the italic font really irritates me! weird, huh?

The imagination of a poet can work miracles in filling in the black and white spaces that dot the straight line streets...this is not fool's gold...it's the real thing in its purest form
