Numberless Things...

Numberless Things...

A Poem by An owl on the moon
"

Guitar strings numberless things...

"

Voiceless words… songless birds

Pale yellow thoughts to drift and dance

 Robin strong… mockingbird song

Tales of knights in a lavish romance.

Tropic lands… the warmest sands

Journeys in our flawed perfection

Guitar strings… numberless things

Soft cotton covers your blush’d reflection.

Cloudless sky… a cobalt lullaby

Limitless visions skip into sight

Man of birth… one of colored Earth

Wuthering winds sing songs of night…

This was my favorite stanza...I love the fantasy of your pen. Such wonderous visions come out of your soul when you create. Another amazing waltz...thanks for the dance!

I always like the visions your work causes me to have. I still love your writing and I still want to become just as great a poet as you someday

This is a limitless metaphor.. with countless doors it can truly reach in so many profound ways. It is both simple and complex .. yet full of spectrum. The full piece leaves alot to the imagination and I loved the flow of it all.. but the last stanza captured a radiance that I can not deny:

Cloudless sky a cobalt lullaby
Limitless visions skip into sight
Man of birth one of colored Earth
Wuthering winds sing songs of night

This one touches so vividly.. like a clear canvas.. no clouds in one's mind or on that sheet to write on. A clear journey.. with limitless visions skipping into sight. Each person a spectrumed part of life on earth.. winds blowing harshly .. wuthering singing songs of night.. clearly the winds blow strongly for every individual regardless of position these days. That is what I took from this.. maybe my own meaning for me perhaps.. this was very thought provoking and I had to reread it 3 times.. each time I got a different perspective. Very nicely penned!

Amazing imagery and flow - I agree with Tigra - that is my favourite stanza too, especially the last line.
Great work! :)
