Numberless Things...

Numberless Things...

A Poem by An owl on the moon
"

Guitar strings numberless things...

"

Voiceless words… songless birds

Pale yellow thoughts to drift and dance

 Robin strong… mockingbird song

Tales of knights in a lavish romance.

Tropic lands… the warmest sands

Journeys in our flawed perfection

Guitar strings… numberless things

Soft cotton covers your blush’d reflection.

Cloudless sky… a cobalt lullaby

Limitless visions skip into sight

Man of birth… one of colored Earth

Wuthering winds sing songs of night…

This was my favorite stanza...I love the fantasy of your pen. Such wonderous visions come out of your soul when you create. Another amazing waltz...thanks for the dance!

Lilting with a staccato like feel to it. Flawed perfection...I LOVE that! Your poetry sings.

This piece made me think of reading fantasy book. I really liked how it had a sing- songy happy vibe to it!

Fanciful and dream-like.... Something you do fantastically!

it was fantasy, lyricism and the effortless musicality of the guitar strings--that danced in waves throughout the classic beauty of your words woven into the poem. KUDOS, and once again, as usual, I am awestruck!!

"Pale yellow thoughts to drift and dance"

that line kind of sums up this piece for me, drifty, dreamlike, as if standing amongst the northern lights as your words wrap around me like vapour. Lovely!
