Life…

such a journey…

Been so many cold days;

so many lonely moments

even in those crowded rooms.

And when she came along

I don’t think she knew

just how much she gave to me

with a simple smile

her kind hello.

My heart felt alive again

felt like I could do anything

with her close.

Now all I think of

is being with her;

making her happy.

I want to see her

dressed in white.

Want to dance

with our children

by the sea.

Want her to know

she’s the only one

who can make me tremble.

The only one

who melts me like wax.

The only one

I want to grow old with.

She’s the only one…
