SKY
A painted tapestry
Of azure, white, and gray
Like ruby lips at dawn
Rich, golden skin at dusk
This is a magnificent poem!! Wow...I thought where is he going with this one? So, far it doesn't fit his descriptive line, and then you pulled it all together with that last verse. I just adore "ruby lips at dawn". Such beauty....
Ahhh, glorious colors painted on the canvas of life. Such beauty they doth bring, no? To see in color....Craig, you have a magnificent fiery vision. You always light up my screen with splendid word pictures. :)
Wow! All your poems just hit me in the heart, right where it counts. You say so much in so few words and I don't know if I've told you this before, but I hope I can eventually write like this. This was so beautiful. Especially at the end, after describing sea, sun and sky, then dismissing them as long as you could have that special someone's love. I admire this poem and I admire you. Great great job Craig :)
Brother Craig, in a nutshell. You brought the canapy of life and love from within the soul of love, showing the depth of a mans heart through the love and reflections of his eyes.
"There are only four questions of value in life...
What is sacred?
Of what is the spirit made?
What is worth living for..
and what is worth dying for?
The answer to each is the same:
ONLY .. more..
