A THOUSAND THINGS...

A THOUSAND THINGS...

A Poem by An owl on the moon
"

a thousand words... a thousand smiles... a thousand embraces...

"

Your heart captured me
so fully as I read
your letters
for weeks
and months.
So beautiful
so loving
so kind
You encouraged me
inspired me
lifted me
in every way
made me feel
so full
so complete.
A thousand words...

Your smile is sunshine
your touch so electric
flowing through me
like a river
washing over me
like a soft rain.
You give of yourself
to make others happy
And in all you do
I smile
I laugh
I sigh
just knowing you
A thousand smiles...

A gentle heart
for your family
your friends
your neighbors
that shows me
a love so caring
Every moment
you spend with me
shows me such love
such beauty
such depth
in your mind
your heart
your soul
A thousand embraces...

Everything about you
excites me
awakens me
challenges me
I thought I'd known love
but never like this
never what I sense
in your life
for me
So powerful
so deep
so overwhelming
A thousand things
I love about you
and I could find
a thousand more
every day
for the rest of our lives...

What a beautiful poem, and, so beautifully formatted too!

Your posts are always wonderful but, there's something special in this one. It expresses so many feelings, such deep feelings - 'I thought I'd known love / but never like this / never what I sense / in your life / for me' ..

.. and, long may that feeling continue.

Thank you for sharing such a magical piece of writing.

Well Craig what can I say.....you have topped them all with this beautiful poem.
Must be a very lucky woman. I loved the font you used made it more personal like
you hand wrote it. It flowed beautifully and the words were perfect.
I wish you and you love the best in life.

*Sobbing* How beautifully rich these words are, they have a depth beyond normal because it is a love beyond normal. Two very lucky people very much in love...that is what shines brightly off this page Craig. I am so happy for you and your loved one. This is what it is all about...this devotion and complete open love.
BLESSED!!
Helen.

What a divine expression of true, deep love! This poem is like magic, flowing through every inch of my mind when I read it. Usually my mood is not highly affected by writing/movies/stories, but this piece of writing is unusually powerful. I felt like I was in another world when I read this.
Truly beautiful.
