Intoxicating...

Intoxicating...

A Poem by An owl on the moon
"

Oh, you are...

"

I took a drink of your olive eyes,

And staggered at your gaze.

I nibbled on your soft lips;

Cream over crimson, so sweet.

We danced in your delicate fragrance;

I couldn’t stop from spinning.

Breathless, my ears drank in your voice

And angels paused to hear you speak.

I take another drink of your olive eyes.

You are so very intoxicating...

Lust pouring throughout each line.. reaching the highest peaks of all 5 senses. Felt like the start of a "hopeful" love perhaps? Very nice, delicate flow.. with olive eyes being the profound focus of the intoxication. Awesome writing.

Ha I like the underlying reference to alcohol through the poem.
This really is a beautiful write.

and angels paused to hear you speak....*soft sigh*!!

What a lovely ballad .... I love your imagery with olive eyes...it instantly brought my thoughts to actual olives, as in a martini...which is complimentary to the drunkeness she seduces in you.

Perfect.

The all-natural high, more fulfilling than any man made substance.

To be able to look into anothers eyes and feel the flame, worth more than any man's best possession.

This is a beautiful poem sure to touch her heart.
