QUESTIONS without ANSWERS...

QUESTIONS without ANSWERS...

A Poem by An owl on the moon
"

Questions race inside my mind...

"

In step on step I find

The questions race inside my mind

A numbness all in gray

Creeping fog keeps the sun away

Why do I feel such pain?

Why does trouble know my name?

When can I live again?

When will this aching in me end?

How can I overcome

And leave this bitter taste undone?

Why does this never stop?

Why do shadows climb on top?

Will love leave me alone

Or come and for my sin atone?

Life like foolish dancers

Is full of questions without answers...

Wonderful flow and I can truly appreciate this one! Life is so full of unanswered questions for me in so many ways! There are so many things I would like to know about my family but the people who they relate to are now gone.. I loved them dearly.. have to press on regardless. I loved the feel of this one.. made me ponder! =)

I guess there will always be questions without answers, but sometimes it makes life worth living to have something to think about. Those little mysterious notions to plague and bother us to keep looking for the true meaning of things.
I can relate to your trouble and pain lines..i have those on my questions list too.

Oh, I can feel the pain you have injected in the words of this piece of writing. In the past year I have felt like this enough for a lifetime, and I find that your interpretation of the painful questions without answers is very well written. Beautiful yet melancholic. I love it! One of my favourites from you.

How perfect a world would be if all our questions could be answered. But I wonder if we knew the answer to everything would we then elude the pain that comes from not having answers. And would we therefore elude the happiness that comes from those questions that can be answered.

I will answer one question, "Why do I feel such pain?," because that is the only way we can appreciate when happiness comes through the door. Pain tears us, it is an aching thats bitter. But love will always find us, love will always make it through.

Wow this is so beautifuly relatable!!!
I have so many questions that I lay awake at night thinking about so deeply I get a headache yet I still find no answers!
I wrote a poem something like this only with it's little flare of my personality!!
Everyone writes poems with a little difference because of who they are!
If I may say so myself this is an amazing piece!!

Sadly, many of life's questions seem to lack answers, and only produce more questions than there were before. Kind of like rabbits. Hope whoever is being plagued with rabbit-like questions, ever-multiplying, retains their sanity and finds some answers.

This is an awesome poem. Hope your friend finds the answers to the questions...

Great write here. But if this life weren't full of questions my friend; I fear i'd not want to wake up. Imagine a world where we already knew, that takes the fun out of learning and seeking out your own answers. Bleh, nevertheless! You wrote this well with a nice rhyme scheme going from verse to verse which actually helps it flow fast. I also like your chosen words; well done.
Write hard!
