How I vaguely remember
A sultry song of embers
Those seasons of solitude
Summer’s fire renewed
Do you hear the ethereal sighs
Delicate, otherworldly cries
Incandescent in the heaven of your eyes.

Oh how I've missed your words...hoping inspiration grips you soon & holds tight.
I'll definitely have to reread "An Owl on the Moon" soon...it's one of my favorites by you.
Wishing you warmth & light.
Memories are both remedy and reminder.. so seems in your wistful poem... that, in its time, warms its spirit in a shadow you long to walk in. Perhaps?!

Ah, so true. Grateful for your eyes to see it. Wishing you now the most blessed Easter weekend.
Hum...I cannot say where this takes me. But it's definitely elsewhere. It is a heavy place of memories, deep. The ones that linger through to the end, even in a whisper. How much you can say is 7 lines, dearest. Love your sharing thoughts.

Those ethereal sighs beat just normal, day to day sighs any day of the week Craig.
Especially when winter makes you sigh so much it feels like you can only breathe in on springs return.
The last line hints at the unseen perfection perfectly.
