A beautful poem on new beginnings. This was such a motivational read for me. Putting the past behind and starting with a clean slate is something I always strive to do so this was very relatable for me. It can be so uplifting when we dont allow the baggage of the past and all its misgivings to weigh us down.

I love your poem but your typesetting is too tight & distracting & hard to read. I love that your artwork reflects your "steam-frosted mirror" idea, but dreary coloring suggests a downer, not an upcoming promise. Usually your page layout is top-notch, but this one isn't sending me. As for the words, you strike the right balance between upbeat & reality. I think people are too jaded to endure a "rah! rah!" poem -- it's wise to acknowledge how people are feeling beat up by what came before.
