A Poem by An owl on the moon
"

A poem I sent to Alison of A fine frenzy after seeing one of her videos. She was so gracious to respond! Her cd (one cell in the sea) is amazing!!!

"

OF SUNSETS AND SIMILES...

Like a white rabbit running down a hole,
The sun sets nimbly, green with envy of your soul.
You sweetly wipe the smile off his yellow face,
As he runs to hide in red disgrace.
Your smile is left to illumine the blue night
As it coaxes the moon’s reflected white light...

Love the rhythm and rhyme of this one..I am glad that I chose it to read this afternoon.Great descriptive work..I like the use of the similies...I was delighted that you stopped by my work about the mountain that President Roosevelt used to visit..Our friend died not to long after the trip over there to visit him..Sunflower
