Hope has slept like a bear in winter

I’ve cursed the darkness as I lay cold

Mieux vaut plier que romper…

 

More than once a façade of faith

A dance of beggars and acrobats

Les petits ruisseaux font les grandes rivières...

 

A garden where your dreams can grow

Painted pink and cerulean skies above

Tout vient à point à qui sait attendre...

I enjoyed being introduced to a little french, but it took a few times thru to be able to read this & capture the whole feeling of it. It seems to be about being patient & not losing hope, with regards to love every coming into one's life, but in our current times, I find myself thinking that many are without hope for lots of reasons, not just about finding love. I believe that having hope is the key . . . cynicism (which I'm guilty of) is rampant these days! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Both English and French lines reach a certain place because that word HOPE: L'ESPOIR has one of the prime reasons for being the centre of life and its being. If you look at both words they contain the eternal circle.
What more can we want, ask for, hold tightly to.? Your writing is, as always, Owl, gently and romantically inspiring.
