very good again, I like that you said there was a wonderland inside her, I really get that, it feels like we have beautiful chaos in our heads sometimes, and it's troubling when no one seems to get that.

So dreamily sensual...a lovely fantasy. This piece is playful and complex at the same time. I'm intrigued by your writing...I'll be back.

Hey, another Wonderland piece! I loved the other one you wrote, and same goes for here. (I'm assuming you've listened to White Rabbit by Jefferson Airplane?) This feels like a combination of that mixed with early Pink Floyd, which is to say dreamlike and almost psychedelic -- appropriate given the subject material. I don't entirely understand the "ten thousand doors" line, you don't necessarily need to clarify it in the poem, but I'd like to know your thought process there.

Listening again to White Rabbit right now! The doors are a connection to the different doors she encountered, as well as the doors inside her dream that could go on endlessly. Doors that we all have waiting to be opened.

“Inside her live ten thousand doors”- and it takes a special perception to truly fathom all of them. Alice in Wonderland is so special to me and your enchanting poem is so filled with the magical tapestry of it, dear Craig. Your eloquent, lyrical, beautifully rhymed verses traverse the mystical outer and inner workings of this iconic, ageless ingenue. You work your intricate language deftly, much like Carroll did. I absolutely, frabjously, love this poem! Masterpiece.

Wonderland has been a place for me to escape into since I was a child... maybe that's why I love it so much... I go there and I'm young again. :)
Wow! I've said it before, and I'll say it again, your writing is how I aspire to write once I put my pen to paper, and my writing is how I end up.. :'))
This is so rich and pretty, and just a tiny bit crazy too!
Ps I think the last line doesn't fit that well, you've left so many easter eggs for Wonderland, that it sticks out a bit, because it is quite specific about the "indigo blue", and yet that doesn't relate to Wonderland (correct me if I've forgotten something though). It could have been forgotten, if it was an extraordinary line, but it does little to make the poem shine, makes for an unsatisfying end when the actual poem is so amazing.
I think the end line could be
"Drink me now, and eat me till you've had enough
Exhale me too in smoke rings of your hookah puff" or something to that effect (my example is only mediocre, and doesn't even scan😂. I think you can come up with a much better alternative)
With my love and admiration❤

One of my favorite quotes says: “I like to imagine that the world is one big machine. You know, machines never have any extra parts. They have the exact number and type of parts they need. So I figure if the entire world is a big machine, I have to be here for some reason. And that means you have to be here for some reason, too.” ― The Invention of Hugo Cabret... You always seem to pour just the right amount of oil on my rusty machine, dear poet, and I shall certainly make a change that will hopefully honor you... with much love and mutual admiration. ❤
Perhaps because it's easier to analyze everything superficially than to really dig in, which takes a special one ;)
I love the Wonderland references in your poems. Really takes the reader into that world. Lovely to read this one. :)
