This year my poetry and prose will come from my first book, An Owl on the Moon: A Journal from the Edge of Darkness. On these pages I etched the dark and light of my soul.

I've always marvelled at how you carry out your pieces, they're inspiring for me, as is this one...
'The suffering of the innocent
in the midst of Jacob’s well.'
These lines just reached out to me...
And I'm glad you'll be posting poetry from your book. I've yet to complete it, have only read halfway ;)

I began that book in the midst of a deep depression, and somehow in the midst of writing it the Light was revealed. And so thankful because I got to meet friends like you who inspire me daily. Thank you so much for reading my book. :)
Waiting for that which is meant to be can be the hardest wait of all...knowing ...accepting....with acceptance comes peace yet what is this mystery called life...we might just never know..🌹
The owl, always deemed associated with the night, with witchcraft, and even with medicine, has been a bird that has sprouted many superstitions in the folklore. In the past it was thought to have been both wise yet foolish, feared but venerated and despised while being admired, symbolising, at once, both life and death.

I love to walk at dusk near my forest here and see one silently soaring or hovering in the branches on the edge of me. I find myself there more often. On the lonely edges of life, but not feeling alone. May you find such inspirations rising all around your world.
The Owl. Fear bird to the Native Americans. One upon the window to your room. Mean death is near. I like the Owl. A bird of myth and tale. I liked your story and your thoughts. Took the reader to places of quiet and places of darkness. Thank you my friend for sharing the outstanding poetry. I liked this one.

An owl on the moon. And yes, there is much darkness and mystery around owls, how they live in the empty places, the night places. I think that's why I see them so much here in Arkansas. They live where my soul lives. Thank you so much, my dear friend.
i loved that book old friend.
whenever i feel like dreaming i go back to it and read a chapter of the corresponding month. my favorite is September's chapter.
''you hear that song? it's mere vibration, not magic.
the sights you see? they're reflected light, how tragic.
but all we are and hope to be?
a ribbon, a thread in eternity'' i actually know that peice by heart XD

Nice Craig. I was led to this this morning. Sometimes I wonder why and when certain things happen. Your words and simple yet the feeling is deep. Thank you for sharing your sou;l with us all.

These words came when night fell on my pathway. And if you find yourself there, know your triumphant dawn will come, but let your heart find peace in starlight first.
This poem makes you think about all the waiting we do and never actually doing until it’s almost too late.
