FALLING, I AM...

FALLING, I AM...

A Poem by An owl on the moon
"

Sometimes in dreams we realize we're meant for another place...

"

Falling, I am…

why do I feel so far from myself

woven  in bands of memory

thoughts soaring by

floating wingless

traipsing, trudging tramping

past countless things

of cabbages and kings

and breathless recollections

near perfect reflections

in mirrors with no faces

how I see such days

in shadows they call to me

from lullabies to lull me

into dreamish Neverlands

just out of reach from golden hands

why  do I feel so far from myself

falling, I am…

Your words lift my soul, dear poet.
I know when I wake up from a dream sometimes it felt so real that they can sometimes get mixed in with my memories. Great work my friend.
