A story laced in starlit thread

A story laced in starlit thread

A Poem by An owl on the moon
"

The illuminations

"

*

Star

Severed

Torn in two

The illuminations

Now housed in flesh

Wandering over endless ages

One aroused as a dark dragon’s whisper

The other an awakening woman with woven wings

And both endlessly seeking the other’s light

Both needing to find their way home

In timeless echoes their radiance

Now hunts halcyon days

Lilting movements

Lissome sighs

Converging

Fusing

Star

dear Owl... it is always comforting to
see the "evening star"... Venus I believe.
There are so many stars and your poem
encompasses the possibilities of the radiance of
timeless echoes... "Lissome sighs... Converging.
truly, Pat

I was clicking down your pages of postings, trying to find one I hadn't yet reviewed . . . noticed along the way, how your poetry & the artwork you select, all of it has a very strong point of view, when taken together. This is something most poets never attain. I very much enjoy all of your artful thoughts stated with graceful imagery & imagination. The title of this one really caught my attention & sent my mind wandering, thinking about finding my own starlit threads! *smile* Fondly, Margie

Your words are floating within the heavenly realms of the skies in which stars brilliantly shine upon us. There is so much beauty within your poem.

I love how creative you got with making the whole poem look like words encased in a star. I can only imagine the amount of effort you had to put into making this poem, coming up with the shape and yet housing such a delicately intimate yet powerful poem was truly amazing... I LOVE IT!!!
