Into the midnight of you

Into the midnight of you

A Poem by An owl on the moon
"

In this storm of distant recollections

"

In this storm of distant recollections

how I wish for light

to pour over you like endless rain

dripping over your soft skin

your loving soul

your restless, wild wings

for you are love to me

and I remember how

she placed you on my path

the angel with no name

who will always be with us

and I only ever want more of you

the day and night of your whispered world

until I can make love to your darkness

and transform it into dawn

kiss me into the midnight of you

let me become your moon and stars

breathe and be with me

just be.

The visualization in this poem is breathtaking. I am not sure I can find the words for this piece. It is beautiful and moves with softness. I am not sure that makes sense, but that is what it did to me.

Your words bring such joy! I deeply appreciate your kindness here. :)
Cfroman,
"Into the midnight of you" was so transparent in its portrayal of the layers of dark and light within your heart towards another heart. Relationships are many times complex of memory- of expectations met and not. Love is the softening factor in how you drew so exactly what and how the angel of love placed intent of feeling to the subject of your heart. I would love to hear just the idea-person? behind this particular amazing poem although the writer's not was probably enough of an explanation. But if you would like to explain a little more.........hint, hint. Just loved it!! Blessings in your amazing writing life, Never stop for you have a wonderful gift. Kathy

I so appreciate your kindness, MOON.
This is a graceful & original love poem! I embrace your lyrical dance between light & dark . . . tho a much-used theme, you've managed to impart it in a fresh way here. Your word crafting flows extremely well. Too many good parts to point out my faves! (((HUGS)))
