We sail across halcyon seas

We sail across halcyon seas

A Poem by An owl on the moon
"

How thin that veil

"

Hold your hand up to mine

Palm to palm

The thin veil between

This brief temporal world

And the eternal

Is smaller than the space

Between our hands

How thin that veil

And how seldom we realize it

Our hope cannot be shaken

By the horrors of this world

For we sail across halcyon seas...

Spectacular penning. You are the poet-man. That veil I have come to believe is nothing but the speed of light, at the root of our most dominant sense and linked intricately to the formation of mass. E=MCC. You break that speed, or slow down to it, in the case of the mind, and voila the veil is yours. But I do have vivid imagination … so who knows:)
