We sail across halcyon seas

We sail across halcyon seas

A Poem by An owl on the moon
"

How thin that veil

"

Hold your hand up to mine

Palm to palm

The thin veil between

This brief temporal world

And the eternal

Is smaller than the space

Between our hands

How thin that veil

And how seldom we realize it

Our hope cannot be shaken

By the horrors of this world

For we sail across halcyon seas...

You're welcome.
Quite beautifully penned; and I have never read a more lyrical depiction of that 'thin veil,' twixt the temporal and the eternal.

Long may you sail across halcyon seas. T

I so deeply appreciate your kindness, Relic. Wishing you such joy in this week. :)
Hope's, of course, one thing that one needs to walk the life - the whole endorsements of nights.Very poetically you depict the moments - the wondering's - of "moments" one's being stuck in & having struggles to wave such darkness. Nice flow of ink!
