We sail across halcyon seas

We sail across halcyon seas

A Poem by An owl on the moon
"

How thin that veil

"

Hold your hand up to mine

Palm to palm

The thin veil between

This brief temporal world

And the eternal

Is smaller than the space

Between our hands

How thin that veil

And how seldom we realize it

Our hope cannot be shaken

By the horrors of this world

For we sail across halcyon seas...

c froman,
"Strong word "veil" ; the meaning of life within each of us. Eternal is the feeling I received when reading this poem of yours. Bless you! Kathy

How true these words are. Life is just a moment in time compared with eternity. Really enjoyed this poem. Valentine

I am so glad. Thank you so much.
Tell me something. Do you court the Goddess of Words(even Love for that matter)? Because i think you do when I read your words and the love you have for what you do. It clearly shows. Hope exists even in the darkest of times. Just need to see it. Just need to connect with someone. Once that exists I really doubt anything else could ever overshadow it. Loved short yet food for thought. Thank you for sharing ^^

That lacunae between energies is as vast as the space between stars or as infinitesimal as the space between dimensions.
Either way, hope surges from the depths
Wonderful. I walk away changed.

To find this connection is a heavenly gift. You pen a magic in these words... A true magic beyond myth and hope, floating in the space between two lovers.
Simply beautiful.

How incredibly precious this piece is...knowing the sea won't hold back their fears or make them turn back. It's time to face our fears & let the sea take us where we were meant to be!

Love, that great comfort that gives our hearts hope that all will be good, regardless of dark clouds that may hover very near to us. Great writing.

Oh my.....in the wake of recent tragic events in our world, this poem truly touched me. Were the times past safer or did we just think they were? Were we lulled into a sense of safety? I also felt a lot of love and romance in this one. We must hold onto our loved ones in turbulent times. Beautifully written, Craig. Lydi**
