Cocoon wrapped

Cocoon wrapped

A Poem by An owl on the moon
"

Come dream with me...

"

Come

come dream with me

cocoon wrapped

so soft, so safe

in shrouded, sweet mystery

a lavender-laced shelter

with vision veiled

under a shadow’s cloak

our dimension now

in a light-lit aura

come

come dream with me

until our dream awakens

and we need dreams no more…

I am glad it could be soothing, Marie. Appreciate your comments!
I am so glad to see a new piece posted by you... you always touch my heart with your writes... this one exudes such comforting warmth and tender care.. it whispers of love, of security, and adoration... it promises a haven of blissful slumber and support... my darkness is always so scary, cold, and lonely, I have always dreamed of a safe, loving, welcoming sanctuary with worshipping arms to embrace me and feelings of contentment and knowing that I am ok.... this expresses that beautifully... gorgeous, heartfelt, and moving... I love this...

Thank you so much, my friend... I truly hope so...
Utterly blissful, a safe harbor to rest one's woes, I feel all warm and fussy here, I might not ever leave this spot.

Thank you, Lillian! Appreciate you coming by.
There poem exudes a scene of strength intertwined with peace. Beckoning the reader to lay down there guard, but also reassuring them the speaker will keep them safe. This would be a great opening poem in a book, or in a section of a book fallows a "tough" section. Thanks for the wonderful write.
