The Converging

The Converging

A Poem by An owl on the moon
"

Two lingering streams...

"

Two

Lingering streams

Meandering untamed

Rambling

Roaming

Seeking shelter

Starlight reflected

In the crystal sighs

The pearl-white longings

Passages

Earthen led

Curved landscapes

Paths birthed

Universe breathed

As two streams

Rush savage

With ferocious fire

Fearless falling

Tumbling unrestrained

Converging

Separate streams

Melding

Melting

Merging

Into one vast

wild river

One…

Thank you so much, my friend! Good to have you by to hear your thoughts. :)
They may have transformed into one wild river but a union stabilizes. Two souls remain in turmoil until they find the perfect union. Amazing write, breathtaking imagery. Thanks for sharing. :)

i like this...when i think of two things merging i think more of a settling down...

here is the idea of not settling for just okay, but really going for it together with a significant other.

the union produces a mutual flow...and willingness to jump into the rapid waters as one.

great piece! with each path we walk, another one comes to meet us. as the paths merge are lives become changed. that path becomes ours and ours becomes theirs. our paths become each other. in this we become one with all.

Thank you so much, John!
Craig, this is and outstanding allegory. The imagery of two becoming one is made both exciting and soft with the use of the natural world. Great stuff

~~~ A very inspirational write!! ~~~ I always loved the words you use in your texts. I enjoyed each & every line of the write. You know what? The war`s everywhere ... because it`s a necessity of life and it HAVE to be savaged ferociously around the world, no matter what. May be, it`s what the NATURE wants from each and every thing. Very beautiful poem!!
