This is lovely. I could see this illustrated as a book so easily. Blue and purple are my favorite colors but in this poem its the red and the green that stand out for me. Well done.

Thank you for sharing your uplifting thoughts! Make me think of the colors of the wind song. :D
This poem is very beautiful, if you could warp it to were small children could understand the words then it would be a very nice way to teach them how to learn there colors. Wonderful work friend, I love Sapphire.. :))

Every color completes the other. I loved the rhymes too. You write a moderate count of words but they burst into life and so much vividness, that I'm not sure you meant to have this impact on your reader. I guess it came out spontaneously. I soared through your blue and green skies, and I smelled the fresh lavender. I touched your bright yellow stars, and I heard the low growl of your scarlet dragon. Beautiful and smoothly performed. Thank you for posting.

Thank you so much for taking a moment to read my inspiration. Your words are much appreciated!
Thank you for this wonderful thought today Craig. To be included in the poem by saying in your author's note, "...and so are you." was an unexpected gift as well.
Maybe you should have this thought put in the last line of the poem...?
Not to suggest it was not perfect as you wrote it, but I felt so much warmth reading those four words.
You have a soul that shines with the most radiant of hues Craig. The picture in the poem reminds me of your Avatar... :)

The rainbow of hues you mention is so effective. There is a spiritual feel to this poem and yet I feel it could also be about falling in love.....feeling a myriad of emotions enveloping the soul all at once. In any case, I enjoyed it. Lydi*
