A surreal dedication to my high school art teacher Mr. Brooks who helped save many aimless lives. Hope life has been as kind to him as he was to us... Don't think I would still be alive if not for that haven...

I do admire you and all the other artists here.I only scribble while you preform miracles. Time all but stops when I enter into these great kingdoms. Yours are truly more than just words or paintings...they are the masterpieces of essence, love,& wisdom. I am glad that Mr. brooks saved you ...the world needs multifaceted souls like yourself to keep sanctuary tween the shades alive. :)

Such a warm descriptive piece, vivid. For some reason lol it reminds me of a winter afternoon, where the sun is shining low in the sky and reflecting off of the windows. Beautiful piece. 100 rating from me
What a beautiful haven you have depicted. The room were beauty is etched within the colors of "amber sunsets". The last two lines add depth, rich within the layers of a sweet moment or memory which you have painted. Excellent write!
Craig, this is stunning. Isn't such a teacher a God-send? He blessed your life with the best of him and through you and your poetry he has blessed our lives. This poem is a tour de force...
Amazing! I love the beauty of this piece as it creates the vivid imagery of ambiance while bringing about the emotional serenity, what a lovely gift to bless us with sweet friend... amazing!
Lovely phrasing: ' .. music of the Beatles lacing ribbons around us ~ oil draped on soul and spirit ~ black and blue ~ a word of praise for paint ~ and the warm sun..'
Firstly. your teacher must have been a very special man, someone you'll obviously never forget and for whom you've written a very beautiful and finely expressed poem. There's a bright light running through your words as if Mr Brook's is still showing you the way. You've really created a clear and sincerre emotion here, Craig
