In copious clouds of lathered foam

Palatial cities blindly stare

At crenellated battled walls

The vestibule of earth and stone…

Influential once on brittle pages

The paraphernalia of broken days

Philanderers stripped the beds of lace

In rooms of baroque-colored dreams…

Here the rain is my restorative space

Reduced by my minimalist grasp

Unheroic stains of crimson drapes

I elaborate inauthentic fragments of memory...

Such pedantic eloquence I've not seen in awhile. In your description I think ( A surreal poem) instead of "An"... An elaborate surreal poem perhaps... (smile) What does it all mean? I understood Dali's Metamorphosis of Narcissus better to be perfectly honest. This needs author's footnotes with a detailed explanation.

Our own mind can mess with us and make us recall things differently then they happened... sometimes mixing up memories and combining them. Excellent work sir.
