She is my heritage… my blood… Albion is the oldest known name of the island of Great Britain. The name for Scotland in the Celtic languages is related to Albion: Alba in Scottish Gaelic, Albain in Irish, Nalbin in Manx and Alban in Welsh. New Albion and Albionoria ("Albion of the North") were briefly suggested as possible names of Canada during the period of Canadian Confederation. Now enjoying the 2012 London Olympics... :)

Absolutely adore the ending, the whole poem really; it's so elegantly written. "My soul still lingers on her ashen lips..." Beautiful visuals. I admire your ability to pack so much beauty and depth into so few words, without compromising the power of the piece itself.
"She calls soft to me
with her ivory crags
shadowed meadows…" Such delicate grace you've captured here. I admire your passion for your heritage, and your sweetly exotic style of writing- always such a pleasure to escape into the portrait of your mind. Remarkable write.
"There are only four questions of value in life...
What is sacred?
Of what is the spirit made?
What is worth living for..
and what is worth dying for?
The answer to each is the same:
