Just a feeling

The taste of your skin 

explodes 

passion into my heart.  

 

The touch of your body

launches 

my mind into a fanatical eruption.  

 

Indescribable 

is the sensation 

of being with you, 

knowing

only a miracle from God himself

can guide you to me

as if it was destiny.  

 

I feel as if I’m walking through heaven

and you’re behind a half open door… 

teasing me 

with the angel I am missing out on. 

 

Unlike any emotion I have ever felt before,

Your inner beauty 

brings me to my knees, 

begging God please, 

to let me explore 

a world of ecstasy with you- 

who brings upon me

an epiphany of the reality of my destiny;

just guide you to me. 

 

I do not want to go on living 

this way, 

knowing that I could

fill your heart

with love for eternity.

And even though you have love,

I find you here

with me.

On my mind

in my heart 

I’m attached emotionally.  

 

What am I to do

with this feeling 

I have no control of?  

Should I 

fade

before your eyes; 

leave you to be?

 

Or should I take this chance

and trust that you will see……

This was really good, and full of true emotion, not just words. You wrote in a way that allows the reader to experience the feeling the speaker is experiencing as well, and that is a quality not many writers have, but all need so desperately.

Wow.... I got shivers. This is passion beyond passion and sence, very very good.
Fifty Shades of Grey is nothing compared to this piece. I like the controlled but still brainstorming concept, that you let it all flow but with a good disposition and control. I'd call this a talent.

I gotta go and shake the shivers off now.

The thing about free verse poetry to me is how it flows. That's what I really love about it. I used to hate reading anything that didn't rhyme. But now that I'm much older I have deep respect for people who can write so freely without even rhyming. The arrangement of the words, everything is awesome about this piece.

Thank you very much.. I am a fan of free verse, but myself I find it more difficult to write without a rhyme scheme than to rhyme. I think maybe because I got so comfortable in doing so it sounds more natural. It takes more thought and confidence to leave words freestanding and I hope readers read it write and with the flow I write it with :) I appreciate your comments my friend :)

This is.... beautiful. I don't know what else to say... It invokes a large quantity of emotions into my heart that I just don't know how to deal with! Which is exactly what a piece of writing should do.

I am appalled by this excellent piece of art, if this is some of your best work, you're going places! Absolutely amazing.

The emotion you put into the readers mind is invigorating and the details are heavenly. The structure of this poem just throws it all together with a nice little bow, giving reader pause when they should pause, flowing smoothly.
