Just a feeling

The taste of your skin 

explodes 

passion into my heart.  

 

The touch of your body

launches 

my mind into a fanatical eruption.  

 

Indescribable 

is the sensation 

of being with you, 

knowing

only a miracle from God himself

can guide you to me

as if it was destiny.  

 

I feel as if I’m walking through heaven

and you’re behind a half open door… 

teasing me 

with the angel I am missing out on. 

 

Unlike any emotion I have ever felt before,

Your inner beauty 

brings me to my knees, 

begging God please, 

to let me explore 

a world of ecstasy with you- 

who brings upon me

an epiphany of the reality of my destiny;

just guide you to me. 

 

I do not want to go on living 

this way, 

knowing that I could

fill your heart

with love for eternity.

And even though you have love,

I find you here

with me.

On my mind

in my heart 

I’m attached emotionally.  

 

What am I to do

with this feeling 

I have no control of?  

Should I 

fade

before your eyes; 

leave you to be?

 

Or should I take this chance

and trust that you will see……

I thought the poem was both romantic and also somewhat sensual. The part having to do with the results of tasting skin and touching a body showcased the sensuality of the poem. It would be a good poem to recite to get one's significant other in the mood. It is also a good poem to think about when it comes to hesitating in giving love a chance.

This poem has tons of different feelings and emotions in it.
I guess that's the reason why the title is just a feeling.
This was quite a romantic write, tells such a story.
Its filled with such longing and was very deep indeed.
Seems pretty deep and meaningful for you to not remember who it was about.

That's the beauty of love, not having any control over what we feel. Yet, it's utterly revolting of how we can feel such things without having knowledge of what they really mean. I feel that love means we feel without knowing. We see a rainbow & Devils flames within the same week. Love can turn our emotions so upside down that we can barely recognize ourselves, but that's the beauty of it all...the power of love makes us feel every single bit & color of emotion we ever imagined! We can feel so happy, yet so angry at the same time. How is that possible? No one knows...but it is. It happens. It's love & we just gotta work best with what we've got. With it comes to love, we can't control what type of emotion we feel. Scary. But true.

Take the chance because this word called "trust" has always served as an obstacle during such do or die moments. I think some things and notions should be discarded completely when it comes to such moments of ecstasy.
