Apocalypse

Apocalypse

A Poem by AaronFreitas
"

Just something totally off the wall for a contest... no offense to anyone just found a cool pic and came up with the idea.

"

God said, “Please set fire…

To each living soul that’s sinned.”

He watched as we burned

Revelations 'number of the beast' often stirs my thoughts - perhaps it just a way of describing sinners who havent repented or have no intention of doing so. In which case this is totally step two.
Great bit of fantasy inspired by a very intriguing image. Nice exercise A.
Good luck in the contest :)

We are all sinners and watching us burn now in our stupid earthly lives as we wait for our time here to burn out and end so we can move to a better table with the master at the head. Well done loyal servant.

:) no problem. mmhmm :D
Well, I have read many times that we will all burn, whether you're going to hell or heaven, because there's a part in the bible that says that we have to be burned to be pure again. The last line of the poem captures the image completely in its own. Great job and choice of words!
