This is Good-bye

Something that came to mind earlier

I waited patiently for you

Like a child lost in the snow

With no sense of where to go

 

Yet, you never came for me

Like an abandoned puppy

Waiting patiently for a family

 

So now I fade into the night

Without a love in sight

Or the will to continue to fight

 

This is good-bye

The whole defeated underlined tone of knowing the time has come for a goodbye. It can be so painful, but in the case where saying goodbye and fulling understanding that the time has come for you to part can make the impact that less painful. Very good short, poignant piece right here. Good job.

farewell's are painful and one never knows if it will be a GOOD bye or a BAD one.
But the bravest step is to take stand for oneself and say GooD Bye.

I really hate being stood up by people you choose to depend on. This happened a lot with an ex boyfriend of mine. I'm sorry for what pain this brings, but sadly, some people don't know how to be there for others when it's truly needed.
