Unstable

Some thoughts going through this journey we call life

Unstable, like a newborn giraffe

Legs are crumbling, struggling to hold

Falling, like leaves from an old oak tree

Shattered like pieces from a dropped glass

 

Need supreme strength to re-mold myself

Strong like the Egyptian pyramids,

Permanent like the Mayan ruins

Strength that’s as durable as graphene

 

It’s time to rebuild myself

And start this life all over

Create a purpose in life

Find ways, inspire others

hi, Aaron! an uplifting piece you got here. the simile "like a newborn giraffe" is a new idea, i guess. that's good. i never really thought of how a newborn giraffe would stand to support its body :)) oh well...
but it's nice. keep writing!

start out with baby steps my friend. Begin with positive quotes, inspiration comes from just about everywhere if you're looking for it, it will definitely find you. We may stumble trying to get up but after you get there, the feelings is absolutely amazing. Your poetry is inspirational already. Keep inspiring others and it shall reciprocate. :) GREAT READ!
