For my daughter Zoe on her sixth birthday

I think of you and how amazing you are

Six years ago today you were born

My beautiful little angel, my baby girl

You made me the luckiest father in the world

 

You always seem to amaze me

In everything you ever do

You always make me smile

I admit, I am so proud of you

 

You are so much like me

In so many ways

Your temper and competitiveness

Straight from my DNA

 

Today on your sixth birthday

I was so happy to be with you

I wanted to tell the world

Just how much I love you

Aaron, So many poems posted on WC are about fantasy, dreams and pain...this is so warm and fuzzy (a GOOD thing) it brought a tear to my eye. Thank you Tks! It was a special day and I was just happy to be able to take her to pick out her bday gift, get dinner and a cake. It's not her party yet but just thinking back to when she was born and realizing six years has gone by so fast. Thanks for the review
