First Date

 

With a dozen red roses

I anxiously wait

I knock on her door

For our first date

 

First impressions

Last forever

No room for error

None whatsoever

 

Our smiles shine bright

We try our best

Her beauty is stunning

Set apart from the rest

 

She is beautiful

Her eyes glimmer bright

Never want this to end

Live forever in tonight

 

Her soft kisses

Light me on fire

The touch of her hands

I forever desire

 

The curves of her body

Beautiful indeed

The beauty in her eyes

Reveal she’s into me

 

Tonight is almost over

I cannot wait

To see her again

On our second date

I lever had a first day like this, but it sounds like the perfect date. But I am rather curious, do guys normally bring a dozen roses on a first day? Either way, this poem actually cheered me up in a way. Thank you and can't wait to read more of your poems.

I can't say I have taken a dozen roses on a first date but it was something I thought would be amazing to do... it was just kind of an imaginary first date if I was to go on one now and how it would be if it was perfect. :) Thanks for the review

Wow..it's amazing...Such love,such happiness,such ecstasy.Reminds me of my first date.The only difference being how I shuddered the very thought of seeing him again.
