Shattered MemoriesA Poem by AaronFreitasA poem about being conflictedThey snuck around wild and free Oblivious to wrong and right In the moment they could only see How two wrongs made it right Their elation could never be seen Or they would cease to exist But the scorching thirst between Much too enticing to resist
Oh, so many times they wish they’d stop So they’d save themselves from shame With every moan convincing them not Each kiss a step closer to pain Who knew that lust would soon die And all the lies would take its toll Our hearts would lie shattered inside Though our memories will never escape our souls
