Dying LoveA Poem by AaronFreitasI have let you down in
so many ways, so many times followed by so many lies. Truths have been
revealed and set me free but you still have your own needs You search for lust
through past flings, all while still being in love with me I can’t place blame on
what you desire when your heart burns dying in the fire You seek a man’s touch
to feel good about yourself But the second they
leave you cry by yourself The need to feel loved
is killing you inside While you can’t seem to
grasp onto life You pull him closer,
deeper inside With each thrust you
feel so alive The touch of his lips
eases the pain Temporary, no control
of the brain We pay the price for
the choices we make It may not happen now
but it will some day And the more you try
the more you lie The more I realize our
love has died © 2014 AaronFreitasReviews
