Untouched land

Untouched land

A Poem by Fejes
"

A fleeting attempt at self confidence. We'll see if the sensation lasts.

"

A pleasant evening of tiptoeing on velvet,

descending both humanity and the stairs,

I dipped into that cool pool of steady light,

touched serenity with satisfaction,

I felt thunder on my cheeks,

with that lightning aroma,

left the warm suspense of up there,

and stayed in the thoughtful comfort

in myself.

I stumbled into the unheard beauty on my
mind. I found it on the curvy

hills to my toes that deserve to be
seen. I found it on the unproud geography

of my skin that stays concealed by mostly a tapestry of some cloth,

but mostly by that

noisy shame

instead

I am uncultivated.

There’s been fragile violence in my head,
there’s been gossamer thoughts and then

there’s been a brutal in-between where deserts

make homes, but

       I guess

       the sun still shines.

How do I withstand the same, sweet storm

each time it revolves the globe of my body?
