War and Peace Spoilers I Mean Review

There's this guy called Pierre. He's like this illegitimate son of a rich dying lord. The lord dies and leaves him as his heir. As a dying wish the tsar legitimizes the son of his friend. So, now that Pierre's rich all the hot girls want to marry him. So, he marries this insanely beautiful woman, but she's not really into him. She's more into her brother. Shades of game of thrones anyone? Maybe this is where George RR Martin got all his ideas. So, anyways it doesn't work out between them. She either died or they have a divorce. I can't remember.

Then there's Prince Andrei one of the most sympathetic babyface characters in all of literature. So, he's like married to this hot chick too, but out of love as well. The girl dies during childbirth. Oh, and Pierre and Andrei are best friends.

And finally there's Natasha to complete the triangle. The widower Andrei sees and falls in love with Natasha at a dance. The two get engaged. He has to leave town though for some reason. It's a long betrothal. During this time period some scoundrel convinces Natasha to elope with him. He eventually abandons her. So now, she's distraught and guilt ridden. Andrei breaks up the engagement and joins/rejoins the army as an active member. Note all this is happening against the backdrop of the Napoleonic wars.

So, eventually Andrei suffers a grievous wound. Somehow, Natasha ends up caring for him. She's like very religious now. They make up and he dies. She ends up marrying Pierre and they both live happily ever after. The end!
