Autumn Spun

Autumn Spun

A Poem by cevance

Autumn Spun

Colors spun with morning's light kiss,

summer shades - to another ends

Stretches far, blushed crimson to gold -

sojourn face of autumn ascends

Beauty surreal, to captive eyes,

landscape awash with vibrant hues

Kaleidoscope swirls to crow's song,

leaves dancing in the windswept ruse

Rustling footsteps, array of sound,

crackling retort from shuffled trail

Stirring ripples, aged earthen scents,

placid trappings 'neath season's veil

On waffing chill - robustly crisp,

chased by traces of smoky flue

Drifting by - like clouds in the sky,

hitching a ride,  you follow too

Hypnotic lure - into its spell,

nostalgic moments stored away

Memories formed - to live again

lost within the aura this day

About
Through my eyes. Coming to the point: I probably don't write as often as I should, and my inspirations come from whatever I envision in my mind's eye at the time. I never look to my surroundings fo.. more..
