LifeA Poem by KiaI wrote this while riding the bus home from work
Life
My life That too crowded bus Where the ride is seconds shot of you losing your mind Faces seen but unheard Thought come and go Wasted creativity Rememberances of lost loves or happier times All shared unknowingly with completer strangers Too close to breathe too far too scream The endless ride that brings happiness at the end And sadness as it will be done again Life Our destination is skewed Like the ride when you get lost in your thoughts Random tugs and pulls by the passengers of life Enough to notice But not so much to matter Faces change Eyes meet Cold weather welcomes closeness in a sense While summer brings tension and annoyance Like the seasons Life Short pauses Long roads Cramped bodies Numb toes Silent friendships formed And familiar routines welcome Just like Life So we know the ride the rules and the fare Now lets figure out where to get off Where to stay on And what is the destination of Life
