You know somethings wrong today

When air is thin, food rots away

Moms and dads can’t feed the babes

And water costs as much as oil

“Don’t think” you’re taught in school

Original thought's against the rules

Artists and freethinkers are just fools

It’s enough to make your blood boil

Can’t you hear the people scream

Can’t you see the dying dreams

It’s now time for awakening

It’s up to all of us

 

Paper it don’t mean a thing

Get off your knees, stop praying

Ain’t nobody listening

God is in your own hands

Work together towards a prize

New Wardencylff on the rise

Free information opens eyes

So come and join in the band

Yet the public schools, the still strain

Archaic notions, ascertain

Any knowledge you wish

Libraries, the Internet

Teach yourself as you see fit

Happiness is what you’ll get

Tear away the lie:

Humans were just made this way

Civilization’s here to stay

Government you shant betray

Rich is evil, poor is good

Social class we’ll tear down

Energy all around

Wherewithal nature bound

Logical reason under-stood
