A Poem by Jeremy Cooney
"

A new song, under a working title.

"

 From snows to the sands

I fly

Many a vagabond

I pass-by

With serious faces,

More serious frowns

Painted and solid

Like cilivized clowns

While Danny-Boy scoffs

And preaches the round

I sit and I smile and sing

Greg sang to the spring

I heard

I barked like a dog

She purred

The grass we did lay in

Just “Poet Gamin’”

And Gracie we’re flyin’

No way that we’re dyin’

One, two, three, one, two

Come, come nay, speak true

Ophelia bounded in blue

Ye-diddle-yiddle-dee

Yiddle-diddle-dee

Yiddle-diddle dee dee dee  x2

Anathema strung

With care

Algol lies blinking

Beware

Jaguar’s jaded and

Shrouded in silver

Khepera shedding his

Arrow and quiver

The sun it doth rise

New life drawing nearer

Ta’lap crouches low

In the west and appears

To be sinking into the sea

Ye-diddle-yiddle-dee

Yiddle-diddle-dee

Yiddle-diddle dee dee dee  x2

It sounds like something S.J. Tucker or Omnia would sing (if you don't know who they are you should look them up, they're amazing). It's very lively and would definitely make a catchy song. I love it.
