Stay Inside

Stay Inside

A Poem by Jeremy Cooney
"

It's a wonder what wonderful wonders await in the wondrous inside.

"

You may say it’s a happy day

And I’m not too sure it’s not

You may shout I just gotta get out

But I’m sure it’s much too hot

I’m gonna stay inside

You can’t run in these hallways

On the tile you’ll slip and fall

Just lay in bed and soke your head

With Tiger’s breath all and all

I’m gonna stay inside

No games, no secret flames

Just a song guitar and me

Come on in with your violin

You can sing the harmony

That’s it

I’m gonna stay inside

Lie down, watch the circle spin round

Reveal the truth out there

Clothes your eyes, part your lips

Don’t mind your fingers in my hair

I can see

You’re glad we stayed inside

Four, three, meditation melody

We gonna  open up the door

Mirror, mirror, the smoke is getting thinner

Floating three feet off the floor

And we’re flying

That’s why we stayed inside

That’s it

I can see

And we’re flying

I’m gonna stay inside

I like it.......and don't take offense to this, but it sounds like something that would be being said after smoking a lil' something!!! Haha, I'm sorry, it just reminds me of a couple of friends!!!
