HairA Poem by Alliemy imagination...Breaking free of the skin, tumbling against your shoulders like water against boulders, twisting at innovative angles, is your hair.
Dark and mysterious, covered with chemicals, but real in the softest way.
It's stuck in your head, like the words you can't dare to speak, like the thoughts you won't reveal, like the feelings you desperately want to express.
It grows and grows, but it grows no where.
Twirling around your lover's index, twisting up his mind, hypnotizing him, you're blinding him with silence, the most obscure sound he's never heard.
Your lips purse together, your eyes glitter, showing that you're thinking, but in the sense you're speaking, your hair is screaming, reaching out for him, begging him to stay, while he untwists himself, in silence, in denial, in depression, you lay. © 2009 AllieReviews
