This Is Just Another Love Poem

A Poem by Cello Jhean

And I stood waiting for this one love to come and explode like fireworks along my starless night. For years I faced life's odyssey alone and without any light to shine for me. I snailed out from that long and lonely maze with tears and sweats but still came out alone. I was in Tartarus but not like Persephone with Hades beside her to keep her from cowering in fear as she stares at the skulls that surround the place. No, I was alone without hope and love. I was lonely for so long that I never came to realize that this very day will come. I never realized that you would come and turn this whole mess of a world upside down. I guess magic really do exists. Though not in a form of losing a glass shoe and marrying a prince. It is as what I prefer, losing myself and finding the other half of my soul. I thought it would be me alone and lost until my breath will cease to exist. Not until you came along and shone like the sun at the break of dawn. You kissed me in the rain and formed my life again. You touched my soul, renewed my spirit, and awaken my heart. You loved me with the whole pieces of your soul and you will love me even if this world will fall. You are a gift from above, my long lost star, and my sweet exodus. You are my knight, my bishop, and my prince. You are the other half of me and the only one for me. Without you, this won't make sense. Without you, this world will never be the same. I love you. Even death won't keep us apart.
