Terror

Terror

A Chapter by Celestia

When Priscilla was born, her parents were told she would not live to be ten.
Blind in one eye, struggling with multiple disorders, she passed the first grade healthy otherwise.
Everything went downhill from there. She slowly went colorblind. And her father was fired. The family moved to an RV in the parking lot of a drugstore. Pris attempted to be normal, but was exiled for being different.
On her tenth birthday, there was no celebration.
Her mother had just passed away.
Although she beat the odds, she was miserable. She stopped talking, and started falling into a hole of depression.
And two weeks before she turned eleven, the RV was taken.
Pris and her father lived in the parking lot of a mall now, occupying a cardboard box.
And seven days after, she was woken in the night by a rustling sound.
She bolted up, wobbling on her weak legs. Her father was laying in front of her, bleeding from a gash on his neck.
She screamed.

Alot of these stories and poems are quite short, but manage to tell such powerful and emotional stories in very few words! I am curious to see if you could formulate a story with only a few lines of writing :P
