Capture

Luna awoke early on the morning of her capture. She yawned and pulled her legs out of the bed for a stroll in the garden.
She saw the shadow.
She tried to run.
Lexi swept her up, slashing her neck. Her head dropped.
Lexi grinned and flapped her wings, bringing the Princess to her castle.

Luna was stuck inside her head. She was gagged and tied to a crystal slab. Her Amulet was slipped out of her hair, evaporating her beauty. Her black hair gave way to brown tangles, and her sky blue eyes turned brown. The scar on her cheek and nose appeared, making her tan skin turn pink.
Tears trickled from her eyes. Lexi, this isn't my fault, she thought.
And she broke free and ran into the night.
